I love reading your musings on everything, but particularly your work and practice. So interesting to get to peek into other artist's minds and processes! Also you may have single handedly convinced to watch Silo!
I'm always a fan of zines but I get how the format doesn't necessarily match the work. But could be something as simple as switching up the dimensions, and calling them something fancier (as your work deserves imo) "printed photo essay" or something.
I just started The Bear! So I guess I have lots to look forward to. Samantha Irby is just SO good. I think 'laugh out loud' funny is what we all need. Thanks for keeping us up to date with everything! I'm in London in August!!
sorry for screaming it was just... me and that series in a little youth cocoon in england once upon a time... and it feels soo sweet to revisit that moment but now, in your lap. yours is the only newsletter i read without fail. it's kind of become a humiliation kink at this point, to be sure to check in on how many books you read this time............ the juiciness of your brain (including the eyes) invigorates me i promise! you don't have to thank me for writing that, sb! you started it, remember? thank YOU for allowing me to project listlessly, my ideas about your inner world - what you might really deeply mean when you say "important" and "friendship", so generously, thank you for catching me
thank you for sharing as always. your newsletter is one i truly enjoy. however you decide to share your art, may it come with clarity and ease💜 do what feels good to ya (in all senses)
P.S.- SILO GOT ME ON THE EDGE!!! i go on the internets to hear other folks thoughts because i too haven’t heard many folks talk about the show.
Zines would be a great way to share the work. Just find a way that you can make them quickly so it doesn't bog you down with more process. Even xeroxed and stapled zines could be great.
Thank you for the shoutout! Love your work, too. And totally with you re: Bear. Haven't started the new season but looking forward to it. Keep these coming, sorry to hear your friends aren't reading but I certainly am. Always a joy and always full of interesting links I've missed.
Keep making these newsletters, please and thank you!
